do i personally share some of the blame for the end of the old dylanpool? yes, sure i do. many of us do. and it saddens me to this day.
oh gd, finally I saw the light - now everything is clear - how come nobody was able to explain the simple truth to us? we're idiots babe is a wonder we can even breathe

Welcome, Crow. Tim has been living a good life here on the NEP within the bobness-protection-program and is a very active (which I am sure is not surprising to you) and respected moderator. As was mentioned, there is a solid group of consciencious mods here which is prerequisite to the growth and longevity of sites such as this. The forum here at the NEP has not yet reached the depth and humor that once existed on the DPool or the Watchtower, but it has civility and integrity which positions it with the potential to achieve that and more...

hi,thank you for the kind words about the mods.
Currently we actually have 5 mods (tim, lostjohn, laughs, nutopia and myself). Actually, nutopia is more of a technical strength of our team but he has mod-powers so i'm counting him to.
With 5 active mods, chances are really big there's always someone online. I for myself live in Europe, the rest of the gang in the states and this geographical spread allows us to be online almost 24/7.
We try to a lot of freedom with what one posts. The rule of thumb we live by is that no posts are allowed that bash someone other user or that contains very explicit content (and this always makes me think about some of the old pools avatars  )
I think we have a quite civilized community here, we hardly ever have to intervene and it has been ages since we last had to been someone...
now, because i said so, i'm sure some old fashioned troll will arive within days...
