The Never Ending Pool

I was just looking for a place to ask this (not been on here for a few years). A couple of people I know are trying to log in and either don't have access to email address on their account, or don't know what it is. Is there any way they can access their accounts?

Also someone mentioned to me that they are unable to register a new account, when the put a username in it says 'field is required' even though they have filled it in. Just wondering if this a common issues, and how to get around it?

Thanks for the reply, but it's not me who needs the password. Someone else who isn't able to log in. If I provide a username, can a password be sent to them? They aren't sure which email address is connected to their account, or if they still have access to it.
